Mr. Barnes specializes in estate planning and decendent trust and estate administration, with specific emphasis on family wealth preservation for large and small estates utilizing state-of-the-art techniques, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, family partnerships and LLC's and various annual and lifetime gifting techniques. The firm's practice includes post mortem tax planning and trust administration; trust modification, litigation, and court-appointed referee, mediation and alternative dispute resolution in all types of family and estate matters.
Mr. Barnes continues to serve as a court-appointed referee on complex and difficult trust and estate matters as well as volunteer his time for the Senior Adult Legal Aid Program.
